Yosuga no Sora Magi-Cu 4-Koma (Anthology Manga)

Yosuga no Sora Magi-Cu 4-Koma (commonly referred to as the "anthology manga") is a collection of episodic short stories in a manga format. It was published by Enterbrain, and officially approved by Sphere. The first volume was released on March 25, 2011,^[1] and the second volume was released on July 25, 2011.^[2] It is being actively translated into English by the TRJR team.^[3]

Synopsis[]

Chapter 1[]

The manga's first short story features Sora and Kozue fighting for Haruka's attention. The next short story features a humorous scene with Sora spoon-feeding Haruka,^[4] and him telling her not to do that as it might attract unwanted attention. Sora's asks why, and as she asks, a scene takes place behind her of Ryouhei asking Akira to spoon-feed him, and Akira obliging. Meanwhile, Kazuha says "he should feed himself". Sora concludes her feeding Haruka is perfectly normal. Kozue lurks in the background, questioning her choice in friends. The next short story continues to show more Sora and Kozue fighting. The final story of the manga depicts Sora doing Haruka's laundy. She trips and falls, and his underwear lands on her head. Kozue walks in at this inopportune time, and labels Sora a pervert. Sora runs away from home to avoid the ridicule. Haruka freaks out due to Sora being missing. And enlists Nao's aid in finding her. Nao makes cookies to attempt to bait Sora, and attaches them to a fishing hook. However, they only succeed in capturing Akira, who attacks the bait like a fish. Haruka notices the flaw in the plan, and substitutes cookies for ice cream. Capturing Sora, Sora is elated Haruka remembered she likes ice cream, proclaiming: "Haruka, you finally understand me!!"

Chapter 2[]

The chapter starts with Akira struggling to carry heavy groceries to bring to the elderly. She eventually realises she can place a large bag on her head, like she does to carry Shishou. Leading to her successfully carrying the groceries. Kazuha eventually sees her and lends her a hand. The next short story shows a chat between Akira and Sora. Akira tells her the Mosquito net around her bed makes it look like the bed of a Princess. The next short story is of Akira sleeping, and Kazuha trying to wake her up using her viola.^[5] The next short story has Kazuha nagging Ryouhei to shave his unseemly beard. Ryouhei counters that all men would improve their appearance with a beard, leading to everyone imagining Haruka with a beard… they decide a beard on Haruka would not be good. The next 2 short stories concern conversations about Kazuha's viola skills, and then Akira's impressive ability to carry Shishou on her head. The final short story deals with Akira and Sora bonding, while Sora patiently waits for Haruka to finish school cleaning duty.
