Description [ ]
The Sayorihime shrine is a Shinto shrine that Akira , who serves as a miko, lives at.
It is located on the northern end of Okukozome . On top of a hill behind the shrine is a massive lake known as Lake Hakone , used for a purification ceremony.
According to a local legend, visiting this lake before dying offers the chance for reincarnation, allowing someone to redo a part of their life they regret. It is believed the goddess Sayorihime has watched over Okukozome since the beginning of time, alongside other gods.
Annually, the shrine hosts a summer festival,[1] a cherished tradition within the community. This celebratory event coincides with the conclusion of exams at Hozumi Academy .
