Ryouhei Nakazato is one of Yosuga no Sora's side characters.

Appearance[]

Possibly the most adult-looking of the main cast, Ryouhei sports a dark complexion, short hair, a beard[1] and a taller figure. He is the tallest of the cast, has the shortest hair, and the only one to have a beard. Usually seen in either a school uniform, or a jinbei, though he has other outfits too.

Personality[]

For all his faults and freakish behavior, Ryouhei is the kind of person you can always count on, in spite of being a self-confessed idiot. Carefree and spontaneous, he brands himself as the ultimate ladies man, applying cheesy pickup lines whenever a pretty face draws near. Yet when the situation calls for it, Ryouhei can offer profoundly sound advice, with an eye that quickly identifies the root of a problem.

Background[]

Ryouhei is a childhood friend of Nao Yorihime[6] and the best friend of Haruka Kasugano. He is also close friends with Akira Amatsume. In the anime, he constantly attempts to flirt with Sora Kasugano.

Ryouhei and Kazuha were never in a relationship, though Ryouhei joked on the possibility that she harbored a crush on Haruka, which resulted in Kazuha blushing and Akira becoming jealous.

The relationship between Ryouhei and the maid Motoka Nogisaka. Before the events of the story, Ryouhei and Motoka tried to support each other's endeavors in their own attempts at romance, both of which resulted in failure.

  • The name Ryouhei means "clear" (亮) (ryou) and "flat, broad, level, even, peaceful" (平) (hei).
  • Ryouhei's surname Nakazato means "middle" (中) (naka) and "village" (里) (sato/zato).
  • Ryouhei is the only major character with no romantic life in any of the routes.
  • Akira and Ryouhei combined are nicknamed "Double Akira" (Wあきら) due to their similarities.
  • He is the only male student besides Haruka whose name is known.
